How To Put A Pod Filter On A Vz Commodore
Post I the pic you posted, the piece of plastic on the left hand side with the two metal clips is where the engine breathes air from. This is where you can carefully remove this piece of plastic and you should find an air inlet pipe, usually around 2's in diameter or so. Montego Bay 3000 Tanning Bed Manual more.
Enlarge the size of the hole to around 3' in diameter or if there is not enough space, add a second hole. This will improve air flow through the standard air filter as there will be less of an intake restriction The factory air filter is actually quite big for the size of the engine as well Put it this way, try breathing through a drinking straw compared to breathing with your mouth wide open. Your engine runs better with a bigger mouth! Mate that is your air flow sensor, it measures how much air is being taken into the engine. What you will have to take the whole air box out but leave the little air flow sensor there and attach the pod filter onto the side of the sensor where the box would go. Or you cud move the air flow sensor closer to the intake manifold (engine) and put the pod filter at the end of the tubing.what make and model is your car how would i attatch the pod filter to the sensor?
( KA-POWell ) i want to add a pod filter to my car. But i cant figure out how to do it with this block that is there. I think its a sensor or something that is to do with the air intake/intake temp. Or you cud move the air flow sensor closer to the intake manifold (engine) and put the pod filter at the end of the tubing.
I opened the box & took the current filter out & had a look but couldnt figure out how i would do it. And also how would i move the sensor up.? I know i have no idea of how to do much. But im trying lol its a proton persona. XD dont laugh! =P not exactly my ideal car atm but i will get closer to something better.
